Landed in Iberia at 4h30.

Passed through customs (Boy it was looong!), Taxi to Hotel Boyeros.

Quick walk to the "Mini Super" for provisions.

Supper at the hotel - Fried Shrimp and Beef Tortillas

Early night - Early start next day.

Breakfast at Boyeros 

Early Shuttle to Cabuya - First on, drove through Liberia, and stop and switch in Nicoya. Met people from Denmark, Germany, LA and Wisconsin.

Arrive at Calala Lodge 2h30.  Lunched on Tacos and fried shrimp. Walked the beach, and took a quick dip in the pool.  Met people from California, Montreal and Colorado.

Breakfast at Calala - Eggs, pancakes, Coffee. 

Hiked out to Isla Cabuya with Carmen and Stephane.

It was swealtering hot!

Back to Calala for a nap and a dip. Supper at Calala - Calala Fish and Schnitzel.

Another amazing sunrise!

Breakfast at Calala.

Spent the morning in Montezuma. Hiked the three beaches with Nadine from France. Took a dip in the reservoir at Piedra Colorada. Were treated to coconut water by two local guys. Ate nachos at Chico's Bar - beautiful view! Souvenir shopped and back to Calala for a  dip and a rest. Supper at the Panaderia. Desert at Calala.

breakfast at Calala.

Lunched at Mariposa Butterfly Beer Gardens. 

Hiked down to Montezuma. Went to the Turtle Hatchery, but none were being released (so sad). 

Stopped for Iced Tea Soda at La Naranja.

Back to Calala for Ice Cream and Drinks (It's all about the food!).

Isla Tortuga Cruise with Zuma Tours - Snorkling, Swimming and Lunch. It was a wonderful time!

  Back to Hotel Boyeras

 Almost missed our shuttle! Lunched at Pappa John's. Poolside afternoon, desert at the hotel. One more night and back to the airport for our flight home. Time sure does fly...
